“369” is Eventstellar’s seventh single and the third official release from their debut full-length album Strangelet. Released on July 10, 2017 and recorded during the same sessions as Threads of Light. The single was produced by Manley Brown, with production assistance by Rúnar Sigurðsson. Engineering was handled by Sōun Kanda, with mixing by Einar Solheim and Cian Solheim and mastering by Thor Linnane.
Rooted in cosmic theory and numerical mysticism, this single explores the enigmatic sequence proposed by Nikola Tesla—3, 6, 9—as a key to unlocking the hidden architecture of the universe. Across three distinct versions. Eventstellar translates this concept into sonic form, each track offering a unique expression of pattern, recursion and cosmic insight:
369 is the central composition—a luminous blend of space-laced dream pop that meditates on the universe’s hidden symmetry. With verses like “Not a bang, but a breath” and a chorus repeating “Three becomes six, six seeks nine,” the song reflects on creation, motion and the elusive nature of origin. It’s a sonic spiral unfolding through rhythm and metaphor.
369 (Borealis Version) reimagines the piece with a glacial aesthetic, channeling the sonic spirit of the North. This version drifts through icy atmospheres and fjord-like vastness, capturing the cold elegance of cosmic silence—distant, serene and reverent.
369 (Nikola Version) transforms the track into a darker, more earthbound dimension. With a pulsing low end and a more intense emotional contour, this version descends into the magnetic depth of the sequence, drawing out the flame “inside the form”—a return to source through resonance and shadow.
The single extends Eventstellar’s ongoing exploration of metaphysics, mathematics and melody. Revealing the hidden threads that stitch together energy, form and universal law. A hymn to the code beneath the cosmos.
