The sound of time
Written by Jesse Rómlárson
The grass was greener
The light was brighter
But the moment slipped away
Through the endless corridors of sleep
I watch the years decay
I took a heavenly ride through our silence
But there’s no way out of here
The echoes fade like distant ship
Lost upon a sea of fear
The bell still tolls
But no one listens
The wings are torn
But I learned to fly
We’re standing at
The endless river
Just waiting for the tide
High hopes led us to the skyline
But shadows fell where we used to stand
And though the delicate sound of thunder
Still lingers
It slips through my hands
The time is gone
The song is over
But the echoes never fade
The time is gone
The song is over
But the echoes never fade…
