“Ordinary” is Eventstellar’s second single, released worldwide through Sólir Music on February 7, 2017. Recorded in November 2016 at The Warehouse Zone Studio, it was produced by Matt Dublin, with mixing and mastering by Michael Nikou and Sōun Kanda. Featuring three tracks, the release explores detachment, routine, alienation and the search for meaning in everyday life.

Strangers explores the breakdown of once-close relationships, particularly friendships and creative partnerships. Its reflective lyrics examine how meaningful connections can gradually become distant, acknowledging shared experiences while accepting the separation of individual paths.

It’s the same love is a hypnotic, minimalist composition built around repetition. Its recurring patterns reflect the monotony of everyday existence, questioning how love, personal relationships and daily routines can become cycles of familiarity and repetition.

Submerged examines the feeling of being trapped in an ordinary existence, overwhelmed by routine and the desire to escape. Through imagery of isolation and confinement, the song moves from despair toward resilience, expressing the struggle to regain control over one’s life.

Together, these three tracks reveal a more introspective side of Eventstellar’s early work, exploring the relationship between personal identity, alienation and the repetitive nature of modern life.
