“Simplicity” is Eventstellar’s third single, released worldwide through Sólir Music on February 17, 2017. Recorded in January 2017 at The Warehouse Zone Studio, it was produced by Matt Dublin, with mixing and mastering by Michael Nikou and Sōun Kanda. Featuring three tracks, the release explores nostalgia, disillusionment and the search for clarity in an increasingly complex world.

The Warehouse Zone reflects on the origins of Eventstellar and the place where Jesse Rómlárson envisioned the band. Through imagery of rust, neon lights and restless nights, the song recalls a space shaped by youthful ambition and creative aspirations. More than a recording studio, The Warehouse Zone became a place of musical exploration and a formative part of the band’s identity.

I’ve got you in my soul explores attachment, self-doubt and the complexities of human relationships. Its surreal imagery reflects the tension between emotional connection and uncertainty, examining the contradictory feelings that can accompany personal relationships.

Beyond 2K reflects on the beginning of the 21st century with a mixture of hope and caution. Its lyrics envision a future in which humanity learns from the past and moves beyond division and conflict. Through its anthemic melody and optimistic outlook, the song expresses the possibility of collective progress.

Together, these three tracks present different perspectives on memory, human relationships and the future. Simplicity explores the contrast between the complexities of human experience and the desire for something more straightforward and meaningful.
