“Legacy” is Eventstellar’s fourteenth single, released worldwide through Madelos Music on October 30, 2018. The main track was produced, recorded, mixed, and mastered at One Touch Sound Studio in Bogotá, Colombia by producer and engineer Jaxhe. The second track, Legacy (Transcendental), was produced, recorded, mixed and mastered by Jesse Rómlárson at The Warehouse Zone in Dublin, Ireland.
This single marks a turning point for Eventstellar. Introducing a thematic concern that will echo through future works, including the upcoming third album “Speak to Me”. Departing momentarily from cosmic observation, Legacy focuses on Earth and its beauty, its gift and its betrayal. It is a call to conscience and unity, reminding listeners of a higher plan that humanity has long forgotten.
Legacy is a sweeping epic rock anthem of spiritual urgency. It envisions the Earth as a Garden of Eden. A paradise given to us by divine will. Yet instead of cultivating it, we’ve poisoned it. Through verses that oscillate between hope and warning, the song insists on a choice: to fulfill the legacy we’ve been handed, or to perish denying it. “The boundaries we break apart / We are all the same, we are one” becomes both mantra and mission—an affirmation of our shared human fate.
Legacy (Trascendental) reimagines the song as an acoustic meditation. Ethereal and stripped down, this version highlights the spiritual core of the composition. There is no accusation, no anger—only clarity and yearning. It is less a protest than a prayer. The final cry, “WE ARE ONE!” lands like a vow across time.
The single’s cover artwork completes the vision: the Earth suspended above a glowing ocean of clouds, divine and distant, framed by the void of space. It evokes not only the fragility of our planet, but its sanctity—a visual echo of the song’s plea: to see Earth not as property, but as a sacred inheritance.
Legacy stands as Eventstellar’s first explicit act of theological and philosophical reflection—offering not a sermon, but a song. It questions whether we’re still worthy of what we’ve been given. And it dares to believe we might yet become so.
